Need to fit study around work and other commitments? Our online courses give you the flexibility to learn when and where you want.

Online study is a popular path for many ACNT students. Perhaps you lead a busy life, or don’t live within travelling distance of our Sydney and Brisbane campuses. If you are keen to get your career in health and natural therapies started or update your qualifications, you can access the same expertise, industry placements and work opportunities as our on-campus students – and graduate with the same qualification.

ACNT can give you a flexible pathway into your career of choice with online courses covering sport development (through sister institution, Torrens University Australia) and health science.

How does online study work?

Teaching and learning take place online rather than in a classroom, giving you complete flexibility to study when and where you want.

We will send you comprehensive learning materials (print and electronic) to guide you through your subjects. You will submit your assessments securely online, and connect with your lecturers and peers in a vibrant online community for group activities and collaboration.

You may be asked to buy additional textbooks and organise supervisors for your external examinations. We recommend you have access to a computer with internet access and access to video recording facilities.

What about support?

ACNT facilitates communication between online students, academics and support staff.

Throughout your studies at ACNT, you have will have access to a dedicated team of distance education tutors to answer any questions you may have. You will also be able to contact our friendly team of student support officers with administrative issues.

Can I study part time?

For Australian students, part-time online study options are available for some ACNT courses. You will undertake a lower study load in each study period.
