ABOUT US Light Chiropractic and Wellness is a fun-loving, family orientated practice based in Glebe. Our practice serves clients from the greater Sydney area with safe, gentle and effective chiropractic care. We also provide nutritional consultations. We care for day-old babies to 95-year olds and people from all walks of life. ABOUT THE POSITION We seek a motivated, enthusiastic, health-orientated Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist, who is great with people (particularly families and children) for our rewarding customer service role. This is a busy and varied role requiring a ‘switched on’ individual with EXCEPTIONAL attention to detail, who can perform the organisational and clerical responsibilities of our reception area, work efficiently and take initiative, while maintaining a flexible, fun and professional work environment. The overall objective of the role is to assist in the smooth operation and continued growth of the company. However the first priority is to maintain EXEMPLARY client service. Therefore the ability to develop rapport with people of ALL ages is essential. We also require a bubbly, happy team player with great computer skills, solid customer service experience and a demonstrated ability to multi-task. The successful person must also have a high regard for healthy living, be willing to go the extra mile to help change people’s lives for the better, and be looking for a worthwhile career - not just a job. This permanent part time role is approximately 10-17 hours per week, and we seek someone who can be flexible with changing schedules. 1. To begin, applicants must be available for at least the following two shifts: Wednesdays from 2:45pm until 7:30 pm and Fridays from 7:15am until 12:30pm. An option to also work Saturdays from 8:00 or 9:00 am to 12:30 or 1:30pm may exist and can be discussed. This stage requires a minimum of 10 hrs/wk, with potential for up to 17hrs/wk. 2. After a couple months the needs will change, and applicants must be able to switch to the following shifts: Mondays, 7:15am to 12:30pm (with an option to also work 2:45pm until 7:30pm) and Fridays from 7:15am until 12:30pm. The previous option to work Saturdays may continue, and can be discussed. This stage maintains the minimum requirement of 10 hrs/wk, but has potential for up to 23hrs/wk, depending on the best fit for everyone on the team. 3. There are also 1-hr long staff meetings that occur weekly or bi-weekly, and will be scheduled outside of these listed hours at times that suit everyone. 4. As the practice grows, additional times may become available, but will be discussed as needed in the future. 5. There may also be the occasional requirement to attend seminars and training outside of business hours. BENEFITS This position will see you rewarded and respected as a valuable member of our team.
