Following your online application, a Course and Careers Advisor will be in contact within 48 hours to discuss your application.

NOTE: It is important to understand that our classes are limited in size and enrolments are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. You are requested to confirm your enrolment with us as early as possible to ensure you have a seat reserved in our upcoming intakes. Your signed Written Agreement is required and payment of a deposit or submission of your VET FEE-HELP application to secure a place in the course.

Course Upgrades and Pathways to a Degree at ACNT (Pyrmont and Brisbane)

Are you looking to build your career? If you have already completed a qualification you may be able to credit this against your degree with us, even if it’s from another institution. We offer guaranteed credit for the qualifications below. If you have completed another qualification, we will review this carefully to ensure we provide you with credit towards our degrees whenever appropriate.

Documents required to support your application

Once we have received your application a Course and Careers advisor will be in touch to discuss how to enrol in your course. You may need to provide any of the following documentation:

- Authenticated* transcripts of relevant academic records (high school certificate or higher)
- Proof of English language ability if English is not your first language (see prospectus for requirements)
- Any additional documentation to support your application (e.g. your resume**, references and Course Credit Application form)

*Authenticated documents must be:
1) Original documents (i.e. Testamur and transcript of results) provided by the candidate to an authorised Think: Colleges representative
2) Copies of the original documents (i.e. Testamur and transcript of results) provided by the candidate which have been either:
- Notarised by a Justice of the Peace or equivalent authority in the country of origin;
- Verified as a true and correct copy of the original documents by an approved Think: Colleges representative.

** All claimed work experience must be relevant to the qualification being applied for and be within the last 3 years of date of application. Mature age candidates must provide Statements of Service on official company letterhead providing contact details of the employer. Past employers will be contacted to verify work experience on a case by case basis.

Recognition of prior learning or credit transfer

Recognition of related academic achievements and informal learning for course credits are available. Certified testamurs and transcripts are required from recognised institutions. Contact your Course and Career Advisor for an application form and details on the process.

Payment Options

Eligible ACNT students have access to the Australian Government’s FEE-HELP and VET FEE-HELP for our courses.

These schemes can assist you in paying for all, or part, of your tuition fees. Repayments commence via the tax system once your income rises above a minimum threshold.

Eligible Australian students may also be able to receive a study allowance from the government to assist with living costs. The Australasian College of Natural Therapies is a trading division of Think: Colleges Pty Ltd who is an authorised educational service provider.

Australasian College of Natural Therapies, as a trading division of Think: Colleges Pty Ltd has the following qualifications enabled for VET FEE-HELP:

  • Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy
  • Advanced Diploma of Nutritional Medicine
  • Diploma of Remedial Massage
  • Advanced Diploma of Western Herbal Medicine

FEE-HELP approved courses:

  • Diploma of Health Science
  • Bachelor of Health Science (Nutritional Medicine)
  • Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy)
  • Bachelor of Health Science (Western Herbal Medicine)

VET FEE-HELP is available to assist eligible students studying higher level vocational education and training (VET) qualifications to pay their tuition fees. Higher level VET qualifications are at the diploma level and above. VET FEE‑HELP can be used to pay all or part of an eligible student’s tuition fees, but cannot be used for additional study costs such as accommodation or text books. For more information, see here.

We are very excited to introduce The Learning Portal to all ACNT students. Our Academic Department is always looking for ways to make your studying experience at ACNT informative, flexible and easy, and most importantly fun. The development of myACNT has integrated online learning with class-room learning and distance education. Here you can complete modules and courses completely independent of any class room, but you can also access the wide range of resources that are only available online.

  • The Learning Portal is designed to provide a wide range of online-based student support such as:
  • Studying modules completely on-line (such as free and general interest modules)
  • Downloading module outlines, course syllabi, Module notes, etc

Accessing ACNT College calendar

  • Free Bulletin board service for students to connect socially and academically. The Learning Portal allows students to view course materials online so students can access them from anywhere in the world. It also serves to connect Distance Education students with each other and the on-campus students.

ACNT encourages you to log-on to The Learning Portal as a first step in answering any questions that you may have in regards to your learning.

The ACNT Orientation Day provides a program of social and academic activities designed to help you integrate into the ACNT community more quickly.

You will have the opportunity to meet senior students,get to know the academic staff as well as become familiar with the campus facilities and support services available to you.

Why you should attend Orientation

Attendance at Orientation is essential to getting you the best possible start at ACNT. By the time you start class you will be familiar with the campus, know the friendly faces and be prepared for study.

What’s Orientation all about?

The Student Services team, Program Managers and lecturers will be there to guide you into your course with Information Sessions, Workshops and campus tours. You’ll also have the opportunity sign up for your student ID card and make friends right from day one!

Orientation will guarantee you are well equipped with all the information you need to know to get started!

What to Bring

Bring a notepad, pen and an open mind. You're in for an active and exciting year ahead, so be prepared to get involved.

What to Wear

Our students wear smart casual or business casual attire. Thongs, shorts and singlets are not ideal attire for class. You are in training for a future in your chosen field. With opportunities for networking with our industry partners, we recommend that you be prepared for these opportunities to cross your path at all times.
