About The Role
• The primary purpose is a leadership role dedicated to developing and implementing the national sales strategy as the foundation of the BioMedica annual business plan
• The National Sales Manager reports to the Executive Director and assumes a key responsibility as a member of the company’s executive management team
• With a team of 9 direct reports the National Sales Manager provides leadership and strategic direction in pursuit of their individual territory targets
• The role also includes key account management responsibility for a network of distributor partners in states beyond New South Wales
• Success in the role demands close, collaborative relationships with key influencers in the holistic practitioner community

Primary Responsibilities
• Develop a sales and business development strategy with the specific aim to achieve the company’s annual revenue budget
• Provide leadership and clear strategic direction to the team of Practitioner Consultants in pursuit of their individual territory sales targets
• Development of the annual forecast for distributor and direct sales as the essential first step in the budgeting process
• Build an effective and motivated practitioner consultant team to be respected as the industry benchmark
• Devise innovative sales strategies to strengthen further the company’s competitive advantage in the Australian practitioner market
• Manage contractual agreements with distributor partners through a discipline of quarterly business review meetings
• Capitalize on market intelligence as it relates to competitor activity and new business opportunities

The Ideal Candidate
• At least 3 years’ experience in a national or regional sales manager position, ideally in the natural health industry
• A motivated sales professional with a track record of sales and market share growth achievement
• Proven ability in the effective management and motivation of a field sales force
• An innovator committed to creating fresh ideas to drive revenue growth
• Leadership qualities at senior management level in a medium size enterprise
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
